Why I am building it

I have been trading since 2022.

In that time, the work of collecting data, filtering through it and mentally processing the information has turned a massive corner with AI. What used to take hours of research can now be done in a fraction of the time.

I have built my own AI agentic workflow. It lets me work far more efficiently while working a full time job, raising a young family, and trading the NYSE from what I believe is the most difficult time zone in the world to trade it.

I am building this series to show the capabilities traders now have to streamline this process for themselves, and to make trading easier to run.

The barriers of data and processing have come down immensely.

It is not about handing your trading to a machine. It is about building the research infrastructure around you, so your time goes into thinking, not gathering.

What an agentic trading workflow looks like

This is a simplified example of one type of agentic workflow. It runs before the US market opens.

It is not the end product. The system I will demonstrate in the series is the exact workflow I use for my own research and trading.

The AI does the collecting, checking and organising. The decisions stay with you.

What it will not be

• Not automated trading. None of the workflows place trades. Every decision goes through human review.
• Not signals. The workflows organise research. They do not tell you what to buy or sell.
• Not a replacement for judgement. AI can be wrong, and sources can be wrong. Every workflow includes source links and checks, so you can verify what it tells you.

Who it is for

• Traders with a defined process who spend too much time gathering information and not enough time thinking.
• Time-restricted traders who need their research ready and organised before the market opens.
• Independent traders who want to build their own research infrastructure, not rent someone else’s opinions.
